August 18, 2026 — A brand-new castle-themed integrated outdoor playground set has been fully installed and finished inspection work at Riverside Community Park, marking a major upgrade to the park’s children’s recreation facilities. This project aims to enrich outdoor leisure resources for local residents and provide a safe, colourful and interactive play venue for children living in the surrounding neighbourhoods.
Designed with a fairy-tale castle aesthetic, the playground unit boasts a rich combination of play functions. It includes bright straight slide, winding spiral tunnel slide, sturdy climbing net, multi-layer activity platforms, decorative palm tree parts and multiple interactive game panels. Children can choose to slide, climb, hide and explore in this single play structure. The diversified modules are carefully planned to suit toddlers and primary school-aged kids, enabling groups of children to play simultaneously without congestion.
To cope with year-round outdoor exposure, all plastic components are manufactured from high weather-resistant raw materials. The material features anti-UV, anti-fading and anti-cracking performance, which can maintain stable quality under long-term sunshine and rain. Every exposed corner of the equipment is processed into smooth rounded shapes. The heavy-duty metal support frame is treated with anti-rust coating, and all standing platforms adopt anti-slip texture design, fully complying with international playground safety standards. The whole play zone is paved with thick shock-absorbing rubber flooring, which can effectively buffer impact and reduce injury risks when children fall accidentally.
The administrator of Riverside Community Park shared that the old simple play equipment in the park has been used for many years and could no longer meet the growing demand of local families.
